SMC-DC is pleased to announce our September meeting: Mainstream Media Using Social Media Tools.
Taking place at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, this event will include a panel of speakers representing a diverse collection of publications.
These speakers will discuss how new media tactics are being used in conjunction with traditional media, what each of the publications is using and how they are reaching their audiences, their view on citizen journalism and its effect on traditional journalism, and their thoughts on new directions of media and journalism with social media.
Special thanks to the National Press Club for hosting, and to Mars Candy and RealPlayer SP for sponsoring.
